Nigerian singer, Tekno has denied recent reports that he received over one billion naira in royalties from his fellow artist, Kizz Daniel for their hit collaboration Buga.
The now deleted rumor, which circulated on social media platform X on Sunday, April 14, 2024, alleged that Kizz Daniel paid Tekno royalties totaling over one billion naira for their work on the popular song. It also claimed that Kizz Daniel sends Tekno 50% of the song's revenue.
In response, Tekno dismissed the claims and expressed his frustration with the spread of the false information. He wrote, "Him money no reach. anybody wey put out that fake interview, thunder fire your mama…#Talkingshit.”
Tekno's emphatic response aims to set the record straight and dispel any misconceptions about the financial arrangement between him and Kizz Daniel for their collaboration on Buga.
