Nigerian-American singer, model and actor Olurotimi Akinosho, professionally known as Rotimi, has announced that his song 'In my Bed' has become certified gold.

Nigerian-American singer, model and actor Olurotimi Akinosho, professionally known as Rotimi, has something to celebrate after his song 'In my Bed' became certified gold.
'In My Bed' was released in 2019 off his project "The Beauty Of Becoming EP", and the song featured a fellow country man and heavyweight rapper Olubowale Victor Akintimehin popularly known as Wale.
Making the announcement via his Instagram page yesterday 14th of July 2021, the singer emphasized hardwork being a reason for the success. He wrote:
I’m just a first generation Nigerian kid from Jersey. Don’t EVER let anyone tell you that there's a box, a CEILING or LIMIT to what you can do, or who you can be. Nothing comes easy no shortcuts no delay. Hard work. A team, a Dream, and ur God is all U need. Bet on YOU.

'In my Bed' is a soothing Afropop tune that had Rotimi Melodiously showcased his craft on it, while Wale complimented it with a smooth verse.
