The Nigerian Basketball Male Team honoured the late legendary Nigerian musician Sound Sultan in the recent game they played.
The Nigerian Male Basketball Team, popularly known as 'D'Tigers', honoured the late legendary Nigerian musician Sound Sultan in the recent game they played against Australia.
Sound Sultan, known to be a big fan and believer of Nigerian Basketball, died on the 11th of July 2021 after a long battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma. Hence, in his honour, D'Tigers observed a one minute silence for the legendary singer, songwriter, rapper and fashion enthusiast.

Away from the one-minute silence that was observed, the players also rocked customized white t-shirts that had the image of the late Sound Sultan in them. However, the Nigerian team unfortunately lost to Australia 97-55.
Earlier, the Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) to honour the legendary sound sultan dedicated D’Tigers’ recent friendly wins against the USA and Argentina to the late music star.
