“My Life Was Openly Threatened” – Seun Kuti Speaks Up After Reportedly Disrupting Lagos Party With Gunshots

Seun Kuti has responded to claims that he beat up and pulled out a gun at a man in Lagos. 

Seun was said to have been livid about not being able to get access to his building and assembled guys to beat up the person who parked in front of his house. Kuti was also said to have brought out a gun after things went awry and this caused party-goers to run for dear life. In response, Seun stated that he was trying to work as they had been partying since 9 am.

Upon trying to leave the house, he found out that his gate was blocked by a car parked by a party goer. According to him, the driver of the car was rude and he made sure to slap him for his statements. He added that after he settled issues with them, the party goers came back with bouncers to beat him up and he had no choice but to retaliate.
