Super Eagles forward player, Paul Onuachu has won the Belgium Golden shoe award for being the best player in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League in the 2020/21 season.

Onuachu wrote his name in the history books by becoming the first Nigerian to win the award. He also won the Belgian Jupiler League Pro of the year award. Belgian Jupilier top scorer and the Ebony shoe award.
The Striker also put his club Genk in the league's record books becoming the first player in the club to win the award in 20 years. He missed out of the African Cup of Nations because of an hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old scored 27 goals for Genk in 2021 making him one of the top five highest goal scorer in the last year.
