The Premier League has named Manchester United's forward, Cristiano Ronaldo as the player of the month for September. The Portuguese emerged winner of the award by getting the highest number of votes from the Premier League supporters.

The news was announced on Manchester United's website on Friday, October 6th, 2021. The 36-year-old scored three goals for the Red Devils in September.
He scored a brace in his second debut against Newcastle at Old Trafford and a goal against West Ham United at the London Stadium after a week.
Ronaldo beat Manchester City's Joao Cancelo, Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger, Newcastle's Allan Saint-Maximin, Watford's Ismaila Sarr and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
This is the fifth time Ronaldo is winning the award during both spells at Manchester United.
